Manager is available as a part of our ImageSiloŽ service or as an
optional, affordable, component of PaperVision Enterprise.
Directory Manager automates the importing and indexing of electronic
files directly into the document and content management system.
Directory Manager works with any electronic file from any source or
media, including images, scanned documents from network scanners,
digital photocopiers or fax servers, as well as original electronic
files on individual workstations. All corporate electronic assets can be
automatically imported and effortlessly managed by the enterprise
document and content management system.

Automatic imports mean files are captured unattended! Ad-hoc file
management systems, third-party capture software, fax server systems,
network attached scanners and photocopiers, and hard drives everywhere

Automated indexing eliminates costly keystrokes.
This easy-to-use interface automatically indexes imported files without
a single keystroke required during the upload. Files are indexed on
folder and/or file names as well as by the last date they were modified.
But the benefits don't stop there! As a component of both ImageSilo and
PaperVision Enterprise, those files processed for use by our powerful
full-text search engine allow the users the added functionality of
searching for specific words or phrases within the file as well. What
once was lost can now be found!

Documents imported into the repository through Directory Manager are
uploaded, indexed and retrieved using all of the features and
functionality available in PaperVision Enterprise. Powerful version
control and document check-in/check-out features ensure that users are

reliability and interoperability of ImageSilo and PaperVision Enterprise
to guarantee the integrity and availability of the data.
